Ahmed is a recognized expert in delay analysis, with a proven track record in preparing and deconstructing claims for additional time. His expertise in planning, programming, monitoring, and managing time on construction and engineering projects is unparalleled.
Throughout his career, Ahmed has acted as an expert witness in numerous forums, including the UAE Courts (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), International Arbitration Centres (DIAC, ADCCAC, DIFC-LCIA, and ICC), and in ad-hoc matters. He has also served as an assistant arbitrator, court-appointed expert, and party-appointed expert in various proceedings.
Ahmed’s technical expertise, combined with his deep knowledge of UAE court proceedings and international arbitration, positions him as a leading expert in the region. His fluency in both English and Arabic further enhances his ability to navigate complex disputes and provide valuable insights.
Ahmed has been involved in over 30 expert appointments and disputes for more than 240 projects across the Middle East, covering sectors such as residential, hotels and leisure, commercial and retail, airports and social infrastructure, schools and hospitals, power generation, oil & gas and telecommunications.
